5.5. Banking and Trust Service Providers

6. International Data Transfers
Personal data processed by MantelHandel LLC is transferred to and stored in the United States, where MantelHandel LLC and its principal processors (Vercel Inc. and Google LLC) are based. Such transfers occur under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, established by the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (C(2023) 4745), and the corresponding UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework.
Under the Data Privacy Framework, transfers of personal data from the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland to certified US-based organizations are deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection consistent with EU, UK and Swiss law. Both Vercel Inc. and Google LLC are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions. Current certification status can be verified on the public list at dataprivacyframework.gov.
In the event that the Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision is invalidated or otherwise becomes inapplicable, MantelHandel LLC will rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 2: Controller-to-Processor) approved by the European Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914, complemented by a Transfer Impact Assessment, as the alternative transfer mechanism.
7. Your Rights as a Data Subject

General retention periods are set out alongside the relevant purpose in Section 3. Specific retention periods may exceed the general periods where required by law (e.g., AML record-keeping).
9. Data Security
MantelHandel LLC implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or unauthorized access. Measures include encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), restricted-access communication via end-to-end-encrypted messengers, and minimization of data collection.
No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be entirely secure. While MantelHandel LLC strives to protect your personal data, MantelHandel LLC cannot guarantee absolute security of any information transmitted to or from the website.
